Performance Based Principal Licensure Standards. The
following shall serve as standards to guide the development of the content
of principle and administrator professional education programs offered
by institutions of higher education and as a standard for the ongoing
professional development of these educators.
Organization and flow are important to the readability of portfolios.
I have structured this section of the portfolio based on what’s easiest
to follow. Breaking the writing and the artifacts into sections seemed
to fragment my writing and my thinking. In order to avoid this, my reflective
essays as well as the related artifacts will be presented for each standard.
Each standard will include section headings that address the required
contents as outlined in the portfolio rubric. These will include the
essay with subparts, related artifact and work products, and a thoughtful
link between the artifacts and the standard. Each standard section will
include its own reference list.
