  1. Within your last name folder create a NEW folder called "FLASH3". Save all future Flash Chapter 3 assignments in this folder. Remember, no spaces or extra periods in filenames.

  1. Open fl3_1.fla and save it as coolCar.fla. Complete the assignment that begins on page 3-6 and ends on 3-9.
  2. Create an extra layer that includes your name, period and date. Make sure the name layer extends across all frames.
  3. Create a new Flash 3 section at the top of your index.
  4. Link the coolCar.swf file to your index.

  1. Open fl3_2.fla and save it as carRace.fla. Complete the assignment that begins on page 3-12 and ends on 3-29.
  2. Create an extra layer that includes your name, period and date. Make sure the name layer extends across all frames.
  3. Create a new Flash section at the top of your index.
  4. Link thecarRace.swf file to your index.
  5. Show the carRace.swf file to the instructor. (Note: There should be 11 layers plus one for your name.)
